Dating Violence Incidence Among A Spanish Adolescent University Sample


Abstract
This paper presents results about dating violence among university adolescent couples. 571 subjects participated in the research (171 males and 400 females), from 17 to 21 years old (average 18.76, sd=1.204). Data were collected through the Conflict in Adolescent Dating Relationship Inventory – CADRI, and analyzed by SPSS 20.0 and EQS 6.1. Results show that, both in the practiced violence scale and in the suffered violence scale, the highest incidence levels are found in verbal aggression followed by relational violence and physical violence respectively, significant differences between males and females are also found in the analyzed variables.
