Personal Style of the Therapist: current status (1998 – 2017)

Abstract
The Therapist Personal Style (PST) refers to the characteristics that each therapist prints to his work as a result of his particular way of being, beyond the focus of his work and the specific requirements of the task. From the beginning of the PST in the year 1998 to the present, more than 50 different scientific productions are found, published in diverse countries, and with different themes. The last study to present a synthesis of the status of the PST was carried out in 2007. Therefore, the goal of this paper is to make a brief synthesis of the current research topics and critically discuss the strengths and future lines of research of the PST.
