PSYCHOLOGICAL INTERVENTION IN THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PATIENTS WITH BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCER

Abstract
An investigation was conducted to evaluate the effect of a cognitive behavioral intervention program to improve the Quality of Life (CV) of patients with breast cancer and cervical cancer in the State of Mexico. This involved 13 patients; 6 with breast cancer and 7 with cervical cancer in different phases of treatment. The quality of life in patients was evaluated using the Quality of Life and Health Inventory (InCaViSa). The treatment lasted 4 weeks and the measurements were performed 4 weeks before the intervention and 4 weeks after the intervention.
