CHARACTERISTICS AND CHANGES OF AUDIENCE PSYCHOLOGY IN IDEOLOGICAL AND POLITICAL EDUCATION


Abstract
This paper aims to identify the characteristics and changes of audience psychology in ideological and political (I&P) education, which greatly affect the education outcome. In view of the basic psychological theories, the acceptance psychology of college students for the I&P education was analyzed, and the acceptance process as divided into three levels. Next, a questionnaire survey was conducted among college students in a university of Wuhan, China. The survey results were discussed to evaluate the I&P education acceptance among college students, and their psychological characteristics and changes. The results show that the acceptance psychology of college students for the I&P education consists of cognition acceptance, emotion acceptance, and will acceptance; the main problems with the I&P education acceptance among college students include blocking psychology, imbalance psychology, reverse psychology, crowd psychology, and casualness psychology. This research promotes the integration between I&E education and psychology.
