Abstract
Legal education is the education of individuals in the principles, practices, and theory of law. The effect of legal education is reflected in the acceptance behaviour of the audience, which can be promoted by psychological empowerment. This paper aims to identify the correlation between psychological empowerment and acceptance behaviour of the audience in legal education. First, the mechanism of acceptance psychology of the audience was analysed in the context of legal education. Then, statistical analysis was performed on the data collected through a questionnaire survey, with the aim to evaluate how each dimension of psychological empowerment affects the acceptance behaviour of the audience in legal education. The results show that, in legal education, the acceptance behaviour of the audience is affected by multiple factors, namely, the educator, the audience behaviour, the environment, and the receiving media; the cognitive process is the precursor of acceptance behaviour; psychological empowerment greatly promotes the acceptance behaviour of the audience, regardless of their gender, age or education level. The research findings help to promote psychological empowerment in legal education.
