The research data were collected through a questionnaire survey in a university in Anhui, China. Through Matlab analysis, the author discussed how the demographic variables of teachers affect positive psychological quality and its components (e.g. confidence and stress resistance), and explored the relationship between positive emotion, psychological quality and job burnout of teachers. The results show that the teachers have high psychological capital and low job burnout; the job burnout of teachers has a significant negative correlation with their positive psychological quality.
