REFORM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH EDUCATION IN NEW MEDIA ENVIRONMENT BASED ON IDEOLOGICAL AND POLITICAL TEACHING STRATEGY


Abstract
The advent of the new media is a mixed blessing to psychological health education in colleges and universities. It is very meaningful to improve the quality of psychological health education in the new media environment. This paper summarizes the evidences and theories on ideological and political (I&P) education, and suggests reforming the psychological health education with the I&P teaching strategy in the new media environment. The author pointed out that the reform should focus on 12 points in four categories, and established a teaching model for practical verification. The results show that the reformed teaching method can improve the psychological health of college students by 26.1~34.9%, averaging at 31.8%; the effect of psychological health education is improved to different degrees in different majors: economics and management> law> science and engineering> literature. The research results shed new light on the curriculum design of psychological health in colleges and universities.
