FOCUS, GROUP INTERACTION AND VERBAL PATTERNING IN PARENTAL GROUPS: FIRST RESULTS OF A PILOT STUDY


Abstract
With this work we propose to show preliminary results of an empirical study throw the application of model of therapeutic cycle and the emotion-abstraction method in a parents group parallel to the children group and its relation with the clinical focus of the macro process. Psychotherapy surrounding in a relational psychoanalysis, makes focus in the roll and its duration is for all over a year. This method search for bringing to concient conflictives feelings related with their own children, to integrate current difficulties with life previous experiences, exploring those aspects parent´s child history that could have something connected with the focus of the current issue. This searching depends on the continental function of the group which includes the trust on the therapist to identify phenomenon and characteristics of the group, how are making the interventions according the objective that follows with this kind of groups and the time we have with this work. Results suggest new lines of investigation, getting deep the existents relations between formal aspects of therapeutic conversation and clinical hypothesis. And by this way to understand therapeutical influence of this groups in the relational dynamic between parents and children.
