Influence of Psychological Well-Being and Vulnerability to Addictive Behaviors in Adolescents From 15 to 18 Years Old


Abstract
Numerous investigations have demonstrated inverse relationship between the level of psychological well-being and risk behaviors in adolescents. Objectives: a) to measure level of BP through the scale of psychological well-being for Young, Bieps-J (Casullo, 2002), (b) to assess presence of addictive behaviors with questionnaire of risk behaviors in adolescents, CORAL (Míguez, 2006), (c) Analyze the relationship between low level of BP and vulnerability to drug addiction. Methodology: quantitative research, descriptive, non-experimental design cross in intentional sample (n= 381) of adolescents from Mendoza, both sexes, 15 to 18 years. Results: a 78,21 % has a mean level of psychological well-being. There is no evidence of illegal drugs, but we identified specific psychological indicators of vulnerability to drug addiction in low level of psychological well-being.
