Interaction and Emotion: An integrative proposal


Abstract
The present study intends to explain the emotional nature of the human interaction. To accomplish the aforementioned, the main aspects of this phenomenon are reviewed in the light of the progress recently made by the different disciplines investigating the mind and human behavior. Findings about phenomena such as theory of mind, mirror neurons, temperament, attachment and others, allow enhancing the analysis offered originally by the Interactional Approach and acknowledging emotions as the main constitutive element of the interaction. Thus, the analysis allows an understanding that is more susceptible to being inquired that the one offered by the original proposal.
