Rehabilitation of executive functions and social cognition, in people with antisocial personality disorder, linked to the armed conflict in Colombia
Abstract
Patients with antisocial disruptive personality disorder present clear alterations in their executive functions (EF) and social cognition (SC) that explain their evident difficulty to have social adapted behaviors. This research develops a full EF rehabilitation protocol, based on Pistoia, Abad & Etchepareborda (2004) approach and a Lawson, Baron-Cohen & Wheelwrigth (2004) theory based designed protocol for SC. Results showed a low level of rehabilitation. It is recommended to insist with studies at this level, taking into account the diversity of variables that affect this process and that will be deepened in the present manuscript.
