Brief Review: Clinical Diagnosis of anger attacks and hostility in patients with coronary disease

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to review the complex relationship between anger / hostility and CHD, providing a theoretical and clinical description of symptoms and identifiable signs, which provide tools to improve diagnosis in the clinical practice. We begin by considering the hostility and anger in a biopsychological perspective, including considerations on aggression. Given the association between these negatives emotions, particularly with the course and prognosis of the CHD, it would be beneficial to bring medical and psychological care to detect the attacks of anger, aggression and hostility traits.
