EFFECTS OF IDEOLOGICAL AND POLITICAL EDUCATION ON MENTALLY UNHEALTHY STATE OF COLLEGE STUDENTS AFTER ENTREPRENEURIAL FAILURE
Abstract
The college life is the transition from school to society. In this period, the students are faced with the combined pressure from life, study and society. This paper attempts to explore the effects of the ideological and political education (IPE) on the mentally unhealthy state of college students after the entrepreneurial failure. Firstly, the basic theories of the IPE and psychology were reviewed. Then, a questionnaire survey was conducted on the mental health of students from public universities, private universities and junior colleges, using a 4-point scale, and the survey results were analyzed in details. The results show that entrepreneurial failure will lead to the mentally unhealthy state of college students, including self-denial, anxiety and loneliness; the IPE can improve the mentally unhealthy state of college students; the IPE curriculum enhances the overall quality of college students and help them to adapt to the society. The research findings lay the theoretical basis for improving the mental health of college students.
