INFLUENCE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL CAPITAL ON THE PROFESSIONAL FEATURES AND JOB PERFORMANCE OF FINANCIAL PERSONNEL
Abstract
Psychological capital is an important influencing factor on the job performance of financial personnel, but the exact influence is not yet clear. To disclose the influence, this paper firstly studies the theories on psychological capital and job performance, divides psychological capital into four dimensions (self-efficacy, hope, optimism and resilience), and splits job performance into three factors (task performance, duty dedication and interpersonal promotion). On this basis, the author conducted a survey using Psychological Capital Questionnaire PTC-24 and Psychological Capital Evaluation Scale. The survey data were analyzed inductively to build the relationship between psychological capital and job performance. The results show that psychological capital has a significant positive effect on the job performance of financial personnel (interpersonal relationship>duty dedication>interpersonal promotion; the correlation coefficients of psychological capital and the three subfactors of job performance were all greater than the threshold, indicating that our results are logical. The research results provide a valuable reference for improving the job performance of financial personnel from the psychological perspective.
