CURRENT SITUATION AND MANAGEMENT STRATEGY OF MENTAL HEALTH OF COLLEGE TEACHERS
Abstract
The mental health of college teachers not only affects their own lives, but also influences the growth of their students. This paper attempts to evaluate the current situation of mental health of college students and put forward a suitable management strategy. Therefore, a questionnaire survey was carried out among 500 teachers from 30 universities in Beijing, the capital of China. Through statistical analysis on the survey results, it is learned that 90.4% of the teachers felt that they are working under moderate pressure; their mental stress mainly comes from living factors like teaching requirement and living environment, followed by housing pressure and income; their mental health problems should be solved through concerted efforts from the society, university management and themselves. This research provides new insights on the management of mental health of college teachers.
