PSYCHOLOGICAL AND EXERCISE INTERVENTIONS FOR TEENAGERS WITH INTERNET ADDICTION DISORDER

Abstract
In modern days, many teenagers are heavily addicted to the Internet. This paper puts forward a novel method to treat the Internet addiction disorder (IAD) among teenagers. First, a questionnaire survey was carried out on the Internet use among 900 teenagers. The IAD degree of teenagers was evaluated based on the survey. Then, 40 teenagers were selected for a comparative experiment. The subjects were divided evenly into four groups: the group of psychological intervention, the group of exercise intervention, the group of both psychological and exercise interventions, and the control group with no intervention. The results show that teenagers are very likely to suffer from the IAD; the combination of psychological and exercise interventions boasts the best treatment effect of the IAD. The research findings provide a good reference for the treatment of teenage IAD.
