Excess Anxiety Is a Great Problem for Controlling COVID-19 - Letter to Editor
Abstract
Viral infections are heterogeneous diseases that have many diverse manifestations. Some, however, have neurologic and psychiatric manifestations and some do not have (Mellins, Brackis-Cott, Dolezal, & Abrams, 2006). Recently because of pandemic attack of COVID-19, there is a question about how this virus can be controlled for preventing unwanted side effects such as ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) (Lai, Shih, Ko, Tang, & Hsueh, 2020). Since prevention plays an important role for controlling this virus, it would be necessary to favor implementation of proper health policy. A great problem in this regard is the excess anxiety among individuals that may cause many problems.
